There is so much bad news and so many bad dreams.

Well, I'm having a good day. It was the first day of my 4 day birthday weekend. I stayed in my pj's almost all day, and now I get to go out for drinks with friends. There's definitely some good going on out there in the world. Hope some of that starts heading your way!

Yeah, I noticed that it seems to be that time again as well! Happy birthday! I hope you have a great weekend, or rather that your great weekend continues.

And I'm very glad to hear someone is doing well.

Things at our house really aren't bad at the moment, but it seems like things for a lot of other people around us are bad. Lots of sickness and death. This sort of makes me worry for our impending arrival a little... like I hope the bad joojoo isn't contagious.

That's all really. And glad to see you'll be at the shower- at least that way I'll get to see you in the near future! :)

I was at the Merc last week and thought of you... but didn't see you at all.

Doing fairly all right over here, although, this morning, upon being woken up, and then getting back to sleep, I had a strange vision of one of my old schoolmates having died. I'm somewhat incommunicado with the chap these days, but I'm going to try and get hold of him, just to check everything is all right.

The other night, I had a dream about being in a funeral home with the corpses of some of my dead relatives (some fictitious ones as well as actually dead relatives). I also have dreams about getting shot, a lot. Different situations, usually I don't die, but sometimes I just wake up at that point which I suppose means that I did, or would have.

It's all so odd...

But I'm glad things are going well besides. Got your text... I know it's early for birthday wishes, but I thought since you were out that way, maybe now was the time to declare well wishes in his general direction. :)

I seem to have a recurring nightmare about impending execution. The situation changes, but the way it plays out doesn't. I suppose it merely underlines my fear of someone taking away my ability to get everything done I want to.

And, yes, thank you for the text. It was lovely, and he was rather chuffed.
