Ewan does not like to sleep alone. Fussy, fussy, fussy.

P.S. Still haven't posted the big update. It's saved to a .docx on the laptop... and Stephen has had that all week. We'll blame him even though I'm fully to blame.

I remember that all too well.

Jillie only slept really well for the first few months in her car seat. It came out from a base which stayed in the car, and it had a rounded bottom - - - she at one point learned how to rock herself to sleep by kicking her feet - - - but we'd just set the car seat between us in bed and she was fine for the first few months. Then that wasn't comfy for her anymore and we transitioned her right into the crib.

But it was kind of odd.

Ewan, also, will only stay silently asleep for any amount of time when put in his car seat (which also has the base in the car).

However, even that magical trick doesn't seem to work in our bedroom -Only when I'm on the sofa.

Bethan didn't go to sleep in her own crib at night for many months - I can't remember how long now, but it seemed like forever. She slept with us, and in fact still does after she wakes up. 9 months in your tummy, of course he doesn't want to be anywhere else! Nor is there a built-in milk supply anywhere else ;-)

I actually enjoyed being ill in some ways the other day because I had the whole bed to myself for hours at a time. Bliss! But I'd miss her if she moved out permanently at this stage I think!
